Mental Health Doesn’t End in May—And Neither Should Your Growth

Each May, there’s a well-deserved spotlight on mental health. We see the quotes, the resources, the reminders to pause and care for ourselves. And yet—what happens when the month ends?

The truth is, mental wellness isn’t a moment—it’s a movement. And it’s one that requires intention, especially for those of us supporting young people.

As educators, counselors, mentors, and youth advocates, we carry a lot. We lead classrooms, guide conversations, navigate crisis moments—and often forget that our own growth deserves just as much care.

At RISE TOGETHER, we believe that meaningful connection doesn’t end in May. And neither should your access to support, tools, or spaces to recharge.

That’s one of the reasons why we created RISEconnection.

What is RISEconnection?

RISEconnection is a 5-week virtual training designed for those on the front lines of youth work—whether you’re in a classroom, a nonprofit, a counseling office, or a community setting.

But this isn’t just another training. It’s a place to reflect, restore, and reconnect with your purpose. It’s a chance to build new skills, deepen your awareness, and walk away feeling more confident, grounded, and equipped.

Why This Matters Now

We’ve worked with over 500 schools and 300,000+ youth and educators over the past decade. One thing is clear: the people who care the most often carry the most. And burnout is real.

Many of us are still navigating systems that don’t always feel safe or supported. And yet we continue to show up. That matters. And it’s why we built this training—to help you keep showing up, but with more clarity and care.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • Confidence to lead safe and brave conversations
  • Mental health and substance use literacy you can actually use
  • Trauma-aware tools for real-world application
  • Storytelling strategies to build empathy and reduce stigma
  • A guided journal to support personal reflection
  • A certificate of completion—and a renewed sense of purpose
