Strengthening Prevention, One Community at a Time

For more than 13 years, RISE TOGETHER has believed that prevention begins long before a young person faces a difficult decision. It begins with connection. It grows through trusted relationships, education, and communities that come together to support young people.

That belief continues to guide our work through the Wisconsin Wins initiative.

Over the past year, we were honored to partner with Brown and Shawano counties through the Wisconsin Commercial Tobacco Prevention and Treatment Program, supported by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Together with local, regional, and statewide partners, we worked to educate families, retailers, educators, and community members about today’s evolving commercial tobacco landscape while strengthening prevention efforts across Northeast Wisconsin.

As we begin a new program year, we’re excited to continue our partnership with Brown and Shawano Counties while expanding our Wisconsin Wins work into neighboring Oconto County.

Commercial tobacco prevention is just one part of a much larger vision.

Whether we’re partnering with public health departments, collaborating with organizations like the American Lung Association, supporting youth leadership, or creating opportunities for meaningful connection, our goal remains the same: helping young people build healthier futures.

Because every conversation matters.
