As we move into the next two months, RISE TOGETHER is focused on what matters most: delivering evidence-based, peer-led programming that strengthens connection, reduces stigma, and supports young people long before crisis.
Here’s a look at what’s ahead and how our work continues to grow across schools and communities.
RISEconnection Training (February–March)
This spring, RISE Together is launching another session of RISEconnection, our research-informed training designed for adults who support youth—educators, counselors, mentors, and community leaders.
RISEconnection equips adults with practical tools to:
- build psychologically safe environments
- foster meaningful connection
- reduce stigma around mental health and substance use
- encourage help-seeking behaviors among youth
This training reflects our commitment to strengthening prevention systems, not just individual moments of intervention.

RISE Hangouts: Ongoing Peer Connection Spaces
RISE Hangouts continue to expand as monthly, facilitated spaces where young people can show up honestly, connect with peers, and practice help-seeking in a supportive environment.
Over the next two months, Hangouts will take place at multiple community partner locations, reinforcing that prevention doesn’t stop after a presentation—it grows through consistent connection and belonging.
Speaking & School Partnerships
This quarter, RISE will continue partnering with schools and community organizations through:
- student presentations
- peer-led storytelling workshops
- parent and caregiver conversations
- professional development for staff
Each experience is grounded in our evidence-based model, blending lived experience with research-backed practices to create meaningful, measurable impact.
Research-Informed, Evidence-Based Impact
Today, RISE TOGETHER programming is informed by peer-reviewed research and ongoing evaluation, demonstrating the importance of connection, youth voice, and belonging as protective factors in prevention.
As our work continues to grow, we remain committed to:
- ethical storytelling
- data-informed decision-making
- continuous learning and improvement
You can explore our published research and impact data on our Impact page.
Looking Ahead
As we head into spring, RISE TOGETHER’s focus remains clear:
- deliver what’s proven
- strengthen relationships with schools and partners
- expand safe spaces for youth connection
- equip adults with tools that work in real life
We’re grateful for the educators, families, partners, and young people who continue to walk alongside us in this work.
Together, we rise.
