A Big Week for RISE Together Across Wisconsin

Last week was a powerful one for RISE — a reminder of what happens when young people are given space to lead, connect, and be heard. The impact is already reaching across two regions of Wisconsin.

In Superior, more than 130 students from 10 school districts came together for the Youth Wellness Leadership Summit. RISE opened the day with the keynote and led a storytelling breakout centered on advocacy, connection, and lived experience — giving students tools to speak out, support one another, and strengthen their communities.

And in Appleton, we officially launched our very first RISE TOGETHER Hangout & Kickback through a new partnership with the Community Living Room. This was the first step in creating a consistent space where youth can show up, feel welcome, and find community.

Huge shoutout to our Program Director, Meghyn, for bringing this to life, and to the Community Living Room for opening your doors and helping make this possible.

The launch was also featured in the news, highlighting the importance of offering young people a safe, supportive place to belong.

Both moments remind us of something simple but powerful:
When young people have a voice and a space to lead, they show up for each other.

Thank you for believing in this work and standing with us as we continue building hope, leadership, and connection across Wisconsin and beyond.

United we RISE,
The RISE TOGETHER Team
